Northerly Queensferry occurs as town inside Fife, Scotland, on the Firth of Forth, between the Forth Bridge and the Forth Road Bridge.
A town is known as fallowing Saint Margaret of Scotland who used to cross a firth by ferry from either "Queen's Ferry" to visit her chapel around Edinburgh Castle.
She died within 1093 & processed her final journeying by ferry to Dunfermline Abbey. Her boy, David I of Scotland, awarded the ferry rights to the abbey.
There got been ferries at Northward Queensferry until 1964 whilst a Forth Road Bridge was opened.
A town pier was designed by John Rennie. One of a independent attractions is the Deep Sea Globe marine aquarium.
N Queensferry is presently front yard to the acclaimed novelist Iain M. Banks. Gordon Brown also has a zero in the area.
